As explained in more detail here, in completing "The K-Metal from Krypton!" we are
taking great pains to be as faithful as possible to the Shuster Studio's 1940 artwork. All of the eleven original pages known to be in existence are being completely incorporated into the finished story in a seamless manner.
When Angel lays out and draws a new page from scratch,
he reproduces the 1940 style as closely as he can. In cases where the original artwork has been recovered, Shane and Bob are each doing their utmost to
reproduce the pages in a manner faithful to the Shuster Studio. The details for each particular page differ, depending on the quality of the material we have to work with.
Here is a sample from the completed page 5. On the left is the original panel
by the Joe Shuster studio as it was published in Alter Ego #26; on the right is the all-new version of the same panel as painstakingly reconstructed by Bob Rivard.
