This picture is, in a sense, an x-ray of the Superman Comic in which Kal-El becomes the energy based Superman.Not my favorite incarnation, but the costume was cool.
I work as a Radiologic Technologist, and occassionally I am blessed with a few free moments at the hospital. One night I exposed the glow-in-the-dark comic cover to a bright viewing light. I took it inside a darkroom and laid a green-sensitive x-ray film on it for less than a second. I then developed the film. You now see the results.
I am working on an x-ray art web-page, The Barium Effect, to complement my Green Lantern site.
